As the nights start to draw in and the central heating comes on, sometimes there’s nothing better than a good Sunday roast.
Now I’m not the biggest fan of a roast dinner, but I had one so amazing tonight I just had to tell you all about it!
When Mum went off to visit the rellies, I came home to find half a cow in the freezer from some distant family friend with a farm!
Now I get sent a lot of products to review and I try to get through them all, but sometimes I do forget – making it a lovely suprise when I unearth them again!
I have tried Isabel’s pizza base mix before (read earlier review here) and I LOVED it, so I just knew these yorkies would be good.
I was really excited to try this Yorkshire pudding mix, and it was so simple!
Just add 120ml of milk and 1 large egg to a blender, then tip in 50g of the mix and blend together.
Heat a muffin tin with some oil in, and when it’s hot, add the cold batter mix, whack in the over at 200′C/Gas 6 and bake for 20 mins until golden brown!
I’d never made Yorkshires before, and they came out brilliantly – just check it out!
We had this with a joint of brisket, slow roasted with root veg for 3 hours in the oven, yorkies, roast potatoes and horseradish sauce, yum!!
What’s your favourite roast dinner? Have you tried making Yorkshires before? What’s your favourite recipe?
